Tryout registration for Academy and Select will be live by April 8th. If your player would like to be evaluated for the 2023-2024 soccer season with UFA, please be sure to register online. Players should attend all sessions for their age group. Simply go to our website at SouthGeorgia.UnitedFA.org, log into your account and search under AVAILABLE PROGRAMS for “2023-2024 SOUTH GEORGIA Academy/Select Tryouts (U9-U19)”. (Instructions on how to set up an account can be found here.) There is no cost to tryout. Players will not receive their tryout ID number until they have been registered. TEAM ACCEPTANCE Team acceptance emails will be sent as soon as the rosters are confirmed. Online Acceptance Registration MUST be completed, with payment, within 3 days to ensure a spot on the team. IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND TRYOUTS, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF TEAM PLACEMENT AND NO SPOTS WILL BE RESERVED. Please do the following: 1. Register online for 2023 - 2024 SOUTH GEORGIA Academy/Select Tryout (U9-U19) UNIFORMS As a part of our ongoing partnership with Arsenal Football Development, the 2023-24 Arsenal Pre-Game jersey is part of the Annual Uniform Requirement for all teams. The 2023-24 jersey will be available in the Lloyds online uniform catalog beginning with Uniform Fitting dates in June. All UFA players for the upcoming seasons, returning and new, will be required to purchase the annual Pre-Game jersey. (Please note: Arsenal changes their pre-game jersey style every year. That is why it is a required uniform item that needs to be purchased by all players annually.) Returning players: UFA discussed last year’s jersey shortage issue with Adidas and Arsenal. To help make up for the wait in receiving the orders this past year, they have agreed to provide the pre-game jersey to UFA Academy/Select players at a reduced price this 2023-24 seasonal year. (The pre-game jersey was going to be $55; parents will only be charged $35 upon Checkout.) Please Note: Adidas is not anticipating any delays this year. All new players are required to purchase and wear the UFA uniform package through our approved vendor. Players will receive an email from sales@LloydsSoccer.com. (Please be sure to add this in your email contacts so it does not go to spam.) This upcoming season will be the second year of a two-year cycle. Any new players will have to order the complete uniform package in June. Once the player's uniform order has been placed, there will be NO refunds or exchanges. With that in mind, players are strongly encouraged to attend a scheduled uniform fitting. Uniform Information |
